Religion and political Conflict

India Pakistan Conflict The India-Pakistan War of 1965. was the second conflict between the two countries over the status of the state of Kashmir. ... Hostilities intensified that August when the Pakistani Army attempted to take Kashmir by force. Both have Nuclear Weapons!!! Stand off Boarder Ceremony

China Tibet Conflict (Land and ethnicity) The Republic of China (ROC) claimed that "Tibet was placed under the sovereignty of China" when the Qing dynasty (1644–1912) ended the brief Nepalese rule (1788-1792). China claims majority as ethnic Chinese. The Tibetan Government in Exile claims that Tibet was an independent state until the PRC invaded Tibet in 1949/50. In 1950, the newly established Communist regime in China invaded Tibet, which was rich in natural resources and had a strategically important border with India. ... The 14th Dalai Lama was a teenager when his country was invaded and was never able to govern Tibet independently.

Northern Ireland Protestant Catholic Conflict At the heart of the conflict lay the constitutional status of Northern Ireland. The goal of the unionist and overwhelmingly Protestant majority was to remain part of the United Kingdom. The goal of the nationalist and republican, almost exclusively Catholic, minority was to become part of the Republic of Ireland. Terror fighting on both sides over Religion and staying part of the British Empire 1990 a peace treaty is signed. Bad memories continue

Partitions and Walls and other conflict Cultural Land Scopes Ireland “Peace Wall” Separates Protestants and Catholic territories Martyrs and political slogans cover walls, business etc.

The Israeli West Bank barrier or wall is a separation barrier in the West Bank or along the Green Line. Israel considers it a security barrier against terrorism, while Palestinians call it a racial segregation or apartheid wall.

Palestinian tunnel warfare in the Gaza Strip, military tunnels employed by the Palestinians in their warfare against Israel.
