Plot Mrs. Frisby, a courageous widowed field mouse, with four children is faced with what seems to be an insurmountable problem. Her youngest son, Timothy, has pneumonia and is not strong enough to survive the move from their winter home in the garden to their summer home by the creek. If he stays, he will die when Mr. Fitzgibbon plows the garden. She seeks advice from the Owl who tells her to go to the rats that live in the rosebush. Connections As I read this book, I made a text-to-self connection with the character of Mrs. Frisby. Mrs. Frisby and I are both the mother of four children. Like Mrs. Frisby, I would do anything I had to do to make sure my children would be healthy and safe. Table of Contents Next---- 9/20/2018
