Brenda Woods Biography By Mr. J 8th grade 312

Life before writing Brenda was an adventurous, shy and inquisitive. She liked reading gazing in the stars and studying found objects. She graduated from college and became an physical therapist. Brenda Woods is a publisher and a author of children books and young adult books.

Adulthood When Brenda was in high school her English professor told her she had a way with words and he suggested that she consider writing Brenda married and had 2 sons. Brenda first book was The red rose box. Brenda Woods has written 3 books “ The Red Rose box, My name is sally little song and Emako Blue. The Red Rose Box has won a Coretta Scott Award.

Most Interesting The most interesting fact I learned from my research is that she won a Coretta Scott award on her book the Red Rose Box. I also learned that she wrote other books besides Emako Blue. Also, that she went to school to be an therapist.
