World Café Etiquette Focus on what matters Contribute your thinking Speak your heart and mind Listen to understand Link and connect ideas Listen for insights and deeper questions Write, doodle, draw on tablecloths Explain that we are going to engage in a protocol that they may enjoy using with their team or in the classroom with students called the World Café. It is especially useful in helping people access prior knowledge and experiences that may provide essential background for new ones. It helps people make connections between old and new information and to think about what else they need to understand to use it.
