1. Serving the local community What value will a Healthy Living Pharmacy (HLP) add to your local community? What services do you believe the public want access to from an HLP in your area? As an HLP, how will your relationship change with your local community? What is it about the pharmacy you work in that is similar to the HLP? How is your pharmacy different to a HLP?

2. The Healthy Living Pharmacy Team How do you think your work role would have to change to work in an HLP? What is the role of a pharmacist/technician/Medicines Counter Assistant in an HLP? How would you see a Healthy Living Champion working within your HLP? What characteristics do you think a Healthy Living Champion should have? Would you be interested in becoming a Healthy Living Champion or do you know someone who would in your pharmacy?

3. Perceptions of Healthy Living Pharmacy The public and healthcare professionals have a view of what pharmacy currently does; how do you think this will need to change to establish HLP? What will need to change in the way you think about your own pharmacy becoming a HLP? What do you think may be the barriers to change for you as an individual? Changing the way we all think about pharmacy will be important to establish HLP; what else do you think is needed to help change our expectations?

4. Skills and knowledge needed for Healthy Living Pharmacy Using the right person for the right task is about getting the skill mix right. Describe a team within an HLP and the mix of skills. Who is doing what? Great teamwork has been critical to success with delivery of local enhanced services; how would you improve your teamwork and what support would you need? Could you do this from within your own pharmacy or would you want help from LPC/PCT? What support do you need? What new skills will a pharmacist working within an HLP need?

5. Acting as a Healthy Living Pharmacy What can the public expect to see/hear/feel from an HLP and the team that work within it? What activities could you do to take HLP out to the public? What, if anything, would be different about how an HLP works with other healthcare professionals, as compared to a traditional pharmacy? How do you and your team act when working within an HLP? How is that different to now?

6. The Healthy Living Pharmacy environment What do you think an HLP looks and feels like? How would the public recognise an HLP and understand the services they can expect? What if anything would you change about the HLP model? What facilities will you need to become an HLP?
