Challenge. Mount Kinabalu. Highest mountain in S.E. Asia. Used by Royal Marine Commando’s for jungle warfare training. 2 days up 1 day down. A trial of endurance, determination and vertigo!

Environment. Orang-utan Sumatran Rhinoceros There are a number of endangered species in the Borneo rainforest. The expedition aims to help in the fight to stop these magnificent creatures becoming extinct within our lifetime. Orang-utan One of our closest relations the Orang-Utan's of the Borneo rainforest are facing the real threat of being wiped out by human interference of their habitat. The Borneo Orang-utan Sanctuary at Sepilok has been established since 1964 and rehabilitates then returns orphaned Orang-Utans to the wild. Sumatran Rhinoceros On the brink these ‘baby Rhino’ are as few in number as 30 left in the wild with a pair in captivity. They are on the brink of extinction due to an invasion of their natural habitat and by poaching. The Tabin Wildlife Conservation Centre is dedicated to saving the Rhino from extinction.

Community Project. Local Schools project. Improving Medical Services. Pupils will help an existing local schools project providing education for the inhabitants of the Borneo rainforest. Improving Medical Services. Building and maintaining medical plant garden so that the inhabitants of the Borneo rainforest have access to the medication they need to keep them healthy. Sustainable Projects. Outlook Expeditions only use viable existing projects that make a vital difference to the communities they serve. Both projects are viable, running operations that rely on the help of outside aid workers to continue to improve, renovate and maintain there effectiveness.

Adventure. Learning survival skills at Miki Jungle Survival Camp. Hiking, camping and cooking through the rain forest. Planning, buying, booking food, transport and accommodation. Kayaking in the South China Sea. Exploring the off shore islands around the coast of Sabah. Camping on the beach. Snorkelling on the numerous coral reefs.
