Cadastre today 1 Land Cadastre Act Adopted on 12 Oct.1994, since then amended 17 times. Cadastral data shall be accessed by way of reviewing cadastral data and taking extracts therefrom Every person may access cadastral data and take extracts therefrom The rates of state fees for taking extracts from cadastral data shall be established by the State Fees Act

Scope of data 2 Cadastral parcels (as of September 2013) Over cadastral parcels, i.e. 93 % of Estonian land is registered in the cadastre Over items in the cadastral archive – of them about 2/3 are partially scanned Objects causing restrictions and zones of restrictions Over km2 of area objects (e.g. protected area, mineral deposit, etc) Over km of line objects (e.g. lines, roads, etc) Over of point objects (e.g. single objects of nature or heritage conservation) Administrative boundaries 15 County; 226 Municipality; 4695 Settlement area Estonian Republic Area: km²

Issue of documents 4 Every person can apply an official document from cadastral archive. These documents are certified by the seal and signature: A statement of registration of a land unit A copy of a cadastre plan A printout of cadastral map Charges are: 2.55 per page of a statement of registration 5.11 per A3-format page of a cadastre plan per square meter of a printout cadastral map

Ordering a vector format data 5 An application can be fulfilled in Estonian Land Boards geoportal. Data are copied in: ESRI Mapping Software Shape File SHP MapInfo Table TAB, MAP, ID, DAT MicroStation DGN Fee is calculated: 6.39 in the case of up to 50 cadastral units and an additional 0.06 per each cadastral unit 7.98 in the case of more than 50 cadastral units and an additional 0.03 per each cadastral unit Average cost 3100 units 100 Year 2012: 981 requests Up to 12070

Provided web map applications 6 Estonian Land Boards Geoportal There are several Map Applications The user can choose between four different types of background maps Queries by parcel identifier, village name, land register unit number… Free of charge!
