History Pluto is the smallest of the nine planets and no satellites have ever been sent there. Pluto was discovered in 1930. Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto in 1930. After the discovery of Pluto is was determined it was to small to be a planet.

Rotation and Revolution It orbits around the sun in 90,465 Days. It revolves around the sun 248 Earth years Pluto rotates in 6 days and 9 hours. Pluto also rotates in a full circle.

Distance from the Sun The distance from the sun is 4.583 billion miles or 4.437 billion km.

Is about 1/5 the diameter of Size and Density Each day on Pluto it takes 6.39 Earth days. Pluto’s density is 2,000 Kg/m3. Pluto is about 1,413 miles (2274 km) In diameter. This Is about 1/5 the diameter of Earth. Pluto i

Temperature Its temperature is between -396°F to -378°F. Pluto is so cold because its far away from the sun.

Compostion Pluto’s core is made of iron and The composition of Pluto Nickel alloy and rock. The composition of Pluto atmosphere is 80%

Pluto’s atmosphere is 90% nitrogen and 10 % of other elements. The icy surfaces on Pluto sometimes melt when its close enough to the sun and form gases.

Satellites Charon was discovered by a man named James Christy on June22 1978. Pluto has three moons, its largest moon is called Charon. Its almost as big as Pluto itself. Pluto has two outer moons called Nix and Hydra.

Physical Characteristics Pluto is so small that it has its own name “dwarf planet.” There is no life on Pluto and is very cold Pluto has a thin layer of ice around it. Pluto is more than an order of magnitude larger than any minor planet in the asteroid belt, and it was larger than any other object known in the trans-Neptunian Kuiper belt until 2003 Even Pluto's moons are bigger than Pluto itself.

what would life be like on Pluto and how would it be like to go there There are probably no aliens on Pluto. Pluto would also be icy on its surface since its so cold. Pluto would be dark and cold and you wouldn’t be able to breath.
