Internship – Learning goals What do you expect to learn? What do you want to learn? Why and how is it different from an MSc thesis? How do I select an internship provider? It’s just an internship and 24 ECTS, no big deal? When do you start looking for an internship position? What are internship providers looking for? Sell yourself; no sloppy CV’s !

Some urgent vacancies for students who can start NOW (1/2): TNO: Alcohol consumption, well-being, and cognition “a real-life study in 800 Dutch students” Emphasis on data-analysis, English-speaking students possible Hospital “Gelderse Vallei”: acidity, phosphate, sodium and potassium in drinks – analysis of popular beverages. Aim: improve diet advice for patients. Current data are too limited. Preference for Dutch-speaking student.

Some urgent vacancies for students who can start NOW (2/2): Heinz (Nijmegen): “... review nutritional research and guidance on sugar and nutritional goodness.” Emphasis on literature review; international students welcome (English is spoken and written language). Start before April. Wageningen, several locations: U-SNIFF – validation of an odor identification test for children This project is part of a large international study, to validate the U-SNIFF odor identification test for children. We will measure olfactory function by means of a 12-item odor identification test (U-SNIFF) twice, in 50 Dutch children.
