Simple Present The simple present is used to talk about things that happen usually. It is often use the simple present with adverbs of time: always , every day, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, hardly ever , never. Example: I always talk to my mother on Sundays. She never eats vegetables. They usually learn something new in class

Is used to speak in generalities or scientific facts. Example: Elephants live in Africa She works in a hospital. Bogota is in Colombia.

It is used for events planned in the near future Example: The party is tonight. Does the festival start tomorrow? The plane does not arrive today.

It is used for instructions Example: Open the window. Eat the vegetables. Do your homework.

Exception: The adverbs of time must be place in front of the verb, except for the verb "to be". When using "to be" the verb comes before the adverb. Example: They are rarely late.

The majority of names are added a " -s" at the end to form the plural. Example: camera / cameras pen / pens house / houses car / cars
