Today: “I’m Just a Bill” – How Laws Are Made 10/21/10 BR- in parliamentary procedure, describe what must happen before a person can address (speak to) the assembled body. Today: “I’m Just a Bill” – How Laws Are Made “Laws are like sausages, people really don’t want to know how they are made”

Assignment – Due Monday! Make a flow chart of how a bill becomes a law. For E.C. color and illustrate the chart Step 1: “There is a problem..” Last step: “The law is enacted”

Watch the Video After, lets discuss and then make a chart by which a bill becomes a law As you watch, see if you can write down some of the steps mentioned..
