New Apprenticeship standards Consultations (IfA) Consultation closed on 11th September to: Approve the development of a proposed apprenticeship standard in Therapeutic Radiographer Approve the draft apprenticeship standard in Advanced Clinical Practitioner Level 7 Academic Professional Approve the assessment plan in Nursing Associate Education & Training - Learning Mentor (Level 3) Education & Training - Assessor Coach (Level 4)
Nursing Associate Apprenticeship Draft Assessment Plan Typically take 24 months Care Certificate is highly recommended Include a level 5 regulated qualification English and maths level 2 Approx. 3375 hours devoted to structured learning activities 2 placements totalling 675 hours other than primary place of employment
Nursing Associate Apprenticeship Draft Assessment Plan Independent end point assessment 1) Observation of practice (pass) - 60 minutes - providing nursing care to an individual or group 2) Professional discussion (pass or merit) - 90 minutes - based on two scenarios (written, video or picture and trigger question) - 15 minutes prep per discussion
