Reflection week beginning 10th October 2016 We are what we do Reflection week beginning 10th October 2016

What are we? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zX2VA2V0XcA Watch the clip. It is a recent advert that has been playing on TV. It describes human complexity, but indicates that we have a choice as to what we become and what we choose to be like.

Love is shown by actions Christians believe that true love is only shown through good actions ‘Our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.’ 1 John 3

We are what we do Aristotle is an ancient Greek Philosopher. He believed that we can reach our full potential as human beings only by practicing the virtues (or values) – becoming a better person is simply developing good habits. Are you practising our values? Kindness, Respect, Integrity, Courage, Responsibility and Hope?

To reflect on…. We are thoughtful, We are thoughtless. We are kind, we are cruel. We are creative, destructive, brave, stupid. We are heroes, villains, visionary, and we are blind. We are responsible..and responsible…. We are all what we have done, and what we will be. So, we all have a duty to do the right thing. WE ARE WHAT WE DO
