Blood Brothers By Willy Rusell

Quotations Quotations tell us a great deal of information about different characters within texts. We should use quotations when writing about texts in order to support what we are saying. Quotations can be used as evidence in order to describe a character’s feelings, attitudes, actions and so on.

Quotations In essays, you will be expected to use quotations in order to support and further your opinions. In exams, you will be expected to remember quotations from texts and write them correctly. You must never write a quote and not explain it as you will be marked down. If you quote, explain to the reader why you have done so and why this particular quote is important.

Task Complete the table on quotations……. Explain what they tell us about the appropriate character. Find a quotation from the text which suggests the explanation.
