Memory process and improving concentration.

memory process? There is three processes involved in memory process: Encoding – when information comes into our memory system, it must be changed and there is three main ways this information can be coded which is picture, sound and meaning. Storage – this is where we keep our memory, where the information is stored, how long the memory lasts for and how much the capacity is. There is two different between Short Term Memory and Long Term Memory. Recall – when we keep our memory, sometimes we can recall it back but sometimes it not. STM is stored and recall sequentially. LTM is stored and recall association.

I’VE MANY SWEET MEMORIES!!! Short Term Memory is when we read or see something, we immediately can remember it because it is a short time to remember. but later, after a few hours or maybe minutes, you might forget about it. different with Long Term Memory. Usually a LTM is what we had been through for our life. It must be something memorable and special until we never want to forget about it because memory is important to all our lives. Without a memory of the past, we cannot plan the present or think about the future. We would not be able to remember what we did yesterday, what we have done today or what we plan to do tomorrow. Without memory, we could not learn anything.

Learning pyramid?

Why human are more genius than other creatures? because human is a good creatures that our god had create. besides, human’s brain 3 times bigger than gorilla’s brain. and, other creatures don’t have is, memory. every human have memory! 3 times bigger!

What we have in brain? brain will analysis Magnetic Reasoning Imaging ( MRI ). our brain also can measure electric activity and brain functional in certain part.

Different between male’s brain and women’s brain?

Our left brain trying to read the colours but our right brain still want to read the words

Brain have two part our brain have two part which is right hemisphere and left hemisphere. so, we more to which part? if me, my left fingers is on my right fingers. so, I more to right hemisphere brain part.

Memory vs brain? Memory is someone ability to storage, protect and remember any information and memory. memory is a computer software. brain is an organ. brain is a computer hardware.

memory memory systems equal to three part which is sense memory, short term memory and long term memory. many of us ask on how to increases our memory but no one understand about this natural memory.

Why we always forgot? Easy to remember? Distractions Cannot focus Time factor Easy to remember? Passion Choice Exercise Repeat

CAUSES OF POOR CONCENTRATION cannot 100% focus do not interested lack of motivation distractions uncomfortable environment physical matter – illness, tiredness psychological matter – personal problems, worries

Strategies for improving concentration always motivate ourselves. build up a positive aura when you’re going to study. deal with internal distractions. use any active learning skills. use the learning skills appropriate with your work. always focus and concentrate.

sq3r SURVEY – we do a survey to get a information to the whole thing that we have to read. Question – we create a question during reading for let our brain find the answer. R – read – read the paragraph to get information. R – recite – summarise the paragraph. R – review – recheck the notes again and remember the content.
