EROS One of the lesser gods of Olympus -There were other divinities in heaven besides the 12 great Olympians -the God of Love, Eros(Cupid in Latin) -Eros cannot do wrong nor allow it -Eros makes his home in men's hearts, but not every heart, not hearts of hardness -Eros was not Aphrodite's son but his companion at times -Later poets wrote that Eros was Aphrodite's son

HEBES -The Goddess of Youth -She was the daughter of Zeus -There were no stories of Hebe except that she married Hercules

IRIS -The Goddess of the Rainbow -Messenger of the Gods

GRACES -one of the two groups of lovely sisters -There were 3 Graces: Aglaia(Splendor), Euphrosyne(Mirth), and Thalia(Good Cheer), they were the daughters of Zeus and Eurynome -Eurynome was the daughter of the Titan. -The Graces were not separate in personalities, but a triple carnation of beauty and grace.

MUSES -There were 9 Muses -The daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne -Each Muse had their own special field: *Clio-History *Urania-Astronomy *Melpomene- Tragedy *Thalia-Comedy *Terpdichore-Dance *Calliope-Epic poetry *Erato-Love poetry *Polyhymnia-Songs to the gods *Euterpe-Lyric poetry
