Internet Etiquette (Netiquette) Lauren Sinibaldi

Make sure you have correct capitalization, punctuation, and grammar. This is important because people need to know what you are talking about and if you don’t have proper capitalization, punctuation, or grammar, then people could get confused.

Don’t overuse emoticons If you overuse your emoticons then people might get annoyed and if you overuse them then it loses its purpose and it just looks sloppy.

Put correct subject headers When you put correct subject headers then people know what your are going to be talking about so they know what to expect and its not a surprise to them.

Don’t Copy Others Work! If you copy someone else’s work, then you could get in major trouble and possibly be arrested depending on what you copy.

Make Yourself look respectful online You don’t want to look disrespectful online because you should act like you are in person rather than sitting behind a computer screen.
