Epaf employee types Monthly, Open Ended – regular, typically benefited employees, no end date Monthly, Fixed Term – temporary faculty, GRA/GTA, and similar employees that are hired for a fixed term. Salary is the total for the period. Has an effective start date and an effective end date. Hourly – any employee paid based on a positive time reporting, hourly rate Federal Work Study – any student hired as Federal Work Study. There are additional considerations.

Epaf approvals Different approval levels are defined, such as, Originator, Department Head, Division/College Individuals are defined as being able to act at one or more of the approval levels EPAFs have mandatory approval levels defined Originators add individual approvers to fill the mandatory levels and additional levels as required Originators can save a default approver queue
