Should we ban cell phones at school?                                  By Maria

My opinion I think kids should not have cell phones in school, teachers think students shouldn’t bring phones to school or in class. Phones can get students in lots of trouble for cheating. Phones can keep other students from learning math, science and other things they learn in class. Ringing phones can disrupt classes. When students text each other they won’t be paying attention in class.

Votes

Core democratic The core democratic value the common good supports my stand that their should be no cell phones in school. Students should focus on their school grades, learning, working hard and listening. Cell phones are not good for your brain, it can cause brain cancer, students won’t remember what they learn in school.

My research In my research, not all schools let students take their phones at school or in class. But some do, just in case of an emergency. For in a example a student or a teacher getting stabbed in the arm, stomach, legs, ribs, and any other parts of the body by a stranger or an a angry student .

History I still think that students should not bring their cell phones to school, about 19 students said yes and 9 said no, not all students have cell phones, parents don’t want their children to be in detention, it can cause other students from not learning in class, some students bring cell phones to cheat on a test.Students don’t have right to do what they want, in school. It can cause of lots of issues at school.
