Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King was a great American who worked for civil rights in the United States in the 1950 and 60 .

Early years He fought for the rights of African Americans and many people, blacks as well as whites, supported him. In 1964 he received the Nobel Peace Prize. King was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He had a brother, Alfred and a sister, Christine. Both his father and grandfather were ministers. His mother was a school teacher who taught him to read even before he started school .

Education Martin was a very good student. He even skipped two grades. He had many hobbies like reading and singing and like every boy of his age he got interested in basketball and football.

Death In late March 1968, King went to Memphis, Tennessee to support black workers of public health, representing AFSCME Local 1799, who had been on strike since March 12 to achieve higher salaries and better treatment . DIED : 4 /4/1968

He lives forever Became a struggle for the rights of blacks and whites to discriminate, so no people of color, not eating. He succeeded thanks to the people who helped him doing what he did. No eating, not getting on the bus ... So the economy and this low for long.
