Baotu Spring Jinan City has a nickname “Spring City”. Centering around springs, Baotu Spring Park is a natural rock and spring garden unique in ethnic style. Baotu Spring, the best one among the famous 72 springs in Jinan, is hailed as "the first spring under the heaven“. The spring water spurts in three prongs, with water droplets falling around, just like three piles of snow, which is very spectacular.(Admission:￥80)

The spring water is very sweet, optimum for making tea, which is limpid in color, rich in aroma, good in taste. Sitting under the "Watching Crane Pavilion" in the east side of the spring with a cup of tea in hand, one's mind will fly faraway and be reluctant to part from it. Throughout history, Baotu Spring Park is the performing place for talk-show and local opera. During the weekend, some classical pieces of Peking Opera, such as "seeking a rich son-in-law" and "watch-Yangzi River pavilion", will be performed under the "White Snow Building". Tourists can also enjoy some local special opera here, like Lü Ju and Liuzi Opera.

Daming Lake （Admission：￥60） Daming Lake is one of the three major attractions. It is located at the center of northeast, north of Old Town, accounting for almost a quarter of the old city. Daming Lake is always the first place for tourists to choose to relax. （Admission：￥60）

The name of Daming Lake was first recorded in a book written by Li Daoyuan, a writer in the Northern Wei Dynasty. In the 13th century, the Italian traveler, Mark Polo traveled here and marveled the lake as "what a beautiful landscape of lake and rocks." Going boating is the most popular activity in the lake. In the lake, you will experience a magic boat journey. If you are not in the mood for boating ,you can also go sightseeing. Going for a walk along the lake is also a wise choice. You can enjoy the fantastic scenery of nature and breathe the fresh air.

Spring City Square Spring City Square is the symbol of Jinan city. Embraced by mountain, spring, river and city, Spring City Square is the central square of Jinan. (Admission:free)

In the Spring City Square, by day, you can enjoy many performances that show you the unique characteristics of Shandong. Besides, you can fly a kite, play badminton and so on. At night , with all lights on ,the square will show you another aspect which is much different from that you see during the day. Lots of people will get together and relax themselves.
