Idea Establishing a research gap – how to identify research gap and its potential for study/funding? How to come up with a research idea? What is better – ideas with big impact vs idea with small impact – chances of successful proposal? How concrete should the idea be? How to dissect research idea in specific aims?

Finding funding agency/program How to chose between funding agencies? Big vs small funding agency? Examples of big and small funding agencies? How to determine where does my research idea fit best?
