The Human Senses: Taste.

TASTE: Is the ability to detect the flavors of substances such as food, minerals and certain chemicals.

It is one of the traditional five senses of the human body.

Sense of taste organ: The TONGUE.

The human recieve tastes through sensory organs called taste buds, concentrated on the top of the tongue. There are about 100.000 taste buds that are located on the back and front of the tongue

HOW SENSE OF TASTE WORKS? We receive tastes through sensory organs called taste buds. When you eat something, the saliva in your mouth helps break down the food. The receptors cells located in your taste buds send messages through sensory nerves to your brain.

The sensations of taste is divided into 4 basic tastes: Sweet salty bitter sour
