CHAPTER IV Illustration In Teaching Material

A. Definition Illustration Illustration is a communication tool visible (visual) that accompanies the text (text) in the book. Illustrations in principle to clarify the notion of the author. Some books even use illustration as the main part, and the text as support. In addition it also presents a number of illustrative information in unison in a single space.

A. Definition Illustration Illustration there are four functions, namely: Descriptive function Expressive function Structural analytic functions Quantitative functions

A. Definition Illustration The purpose of the illustration is as follows Clarify the information provided Providing variety and interesting Help remember ideas presented Reducing narrative / text, save space
