Our Adventure Begins

After reading a story about foxes, we set out to find one After reading a story about foxes, we set out to find one. We know what they eat, and where they live, so off we go...

With lots of anticipation and a little hesitation, Reese leads Caleb and Emma Grace out the door.

Everyone is ready. We're off to find a fox!

We approach what could be the den...And then we see it !!

The Fox !!!!

As we walked, Reese discovered a hole.. He asked, “Do fox live there?” and I asked him if he thought the fox would fit in that little hole? Since the hole was so small, Reese decided it must be the rabbit's hole.

Caleb and Emma Grace decided to get a closer look too.

Emma Grace told me that she was scared the fox would get the rabbit, but I assured her that the rabbit was hiding safely and the fox would not find it.

Why It Matters “Exposure to natural environments improves children's cognitive development by improving their awareness, reasoning and observational skills.” (Pyle 2002)
