Many points around the ring

On March ’15, on occasion of the completion of C&S review, CERN had informed the ILO network about the Hi-Lumi LHC project and notified about the upcoming event to inform EU industries. On end of April, invitation letters have been sent to industries and ILOs. The answer has been encouraging: we have here represented more than 100 industries and academic, from almost 20 EU countries, with 146 officially registered attendants. More than 80 B2B meeting have been requested. The technical sectors here represented are those of close interest to Hi-Lumi: superconductivity, cryogenics, power electronics, electrical engineering, mechanics. Other sectors here not mentioned could be included, if and when necessary, in future discussions. M.Losasso cern fp/kt

WHERE: Meeting is in IdeaSquare and in 13-2-005. but Coffee breaks and lunch are only in IdeaSquare. AIM: to connect CERN with all these potential industrial partners, fostering collaboration, technical exchange, deployment of EU commercial potential. Providing a structured environment for debate, communication and exchange on information and ideas on important topics of the Hi-Lumi project. Developing a dialog between all stakeholders. Investigating bridging solutions between industrial, scientific and commercial concerns to be included in our future CfT Disseminating technical requirements on components and equipment's object of the project scope. M.Losasso cern fp/kt
