Welcome to the ABC Bakers webinar on Smart Cookies – Initial Order for a Troop with Gluten Free Trios. Abcsmartcookies.com is the business center website for all girls and volunteers to manage and monitor their accounts throughout the cookie season.

Initial Order for a Troop without Gluten Free Trios Initial orders placed by Troop (as opposed to placing an order by individual girl) are based on several factors: Number of Girls participating in the cookie sale and their input from any presales activity or their sales goals Troop sales goals Previous Troop sales history Orders placed by Troop can be in packages or cases (the unit of measure is determined by each Council) for each variety Troop volunteers will transfer packages to girls following the initial delivery to give them credit for any packages that the girl accepts responsibility for selling Log on to abcsmartcookies.com to get started.

Troop Initial Order – key measurements For returning Troops the following information will be available on the initial order screen: The Total number of packages sold the previous season, and the total for the current season The per girl average from the previous season will be shown and the per girl average will update for the current season as it progresses The Troop Initial order from the previous season will be shown and the current season’s quantity will display once entered The Troop Initial order in total sales will be shown from previous and current seasons

Troop Initial Order – order section Build Order By: Cookies or Girl - “Cookies” will be highlighted for the Troop Initial order (verses an Initial order for individual Girl) Measure By: Cases or Packages – Your Council will determine the unit of measure that the initial order will be placed in. Please note the correct unit of measure for your order entry in upper right of the order grid. You cannot change the unit of measure for the order. Enter the total of each variety in the correct unit of measure in the boxes Repeat the steps for each variety until all variety quantities have been entered Initial orders will be rounded up to full case quantities if placed in packages unit of measure The “Extra” packages represented on the right of the Troop Order are the packages in every variety that have been automatically added to roundup to the nearest case (only when orders are placed in packages) The “Total” of the Troop’s Initial order is shown in Dollar amount and in Total package or case quantity Enter any Order Notes for reference if desired Click Save once complete. A confirmation message will appear showing the Initial Order was successfully saved. You will see your Troop’s delivery station option(s) at the bottom of the page.

Choosing a Delivery Date and Time Once the Initial Order is saved, the Delivery Station option(s) for initial cookie pick up, which is assigned by the Council, will appear under the order. If there is more than one delivery location available to you, you will see the options from which you can select. A map will show the location of each delivery station available to you. If there is only one option for initial order pick up, you will be automatically assigned to that location. A map showing the delivery station address as well as the date for pick up will be displayed. Choose a Location – choose from the pre-populated locations that have been assigned from the Council If the delivery station has a pick up schedule associated with it, you will be able to select a date and time for your initial order pick up. Pick A Date – choose from the pre-populated dates that have been assigned from the Council. Make An Appointment – choose a time for pick up if the Council has provided this option otherwise, just choose a location and date. Click Save to save the appointment. A confirmation message will appear showing the Delivery Station was successfully saved. Delivery Appointment Details will appear at the bottom of the page confirming the Initial Order Pick-up appointment. Click the Edit Delivery Location box if necessary to change the appointment before the Troop initial order due date. The option to Delete the order is located at the bottom This order can be edited up until the “Troop Order Deadline” Date which is located at the top on the screen in red. If you edit the order, please remember to SAVE your changes prior to making any changes in the delivery station If the order is finalized and ready to be submitted to Council, click on the “Ready to Review” button at either the top or bottom of the screen to signify to your Service Unit manager that your order is ready for review
