Historic BB Caravan Re-opens the SILK ROAD on 27th September 2005 The Caravan The recent organization of the 3rd IRU Euro-Asian Road Transport Conference in Beijing, coupled with a joint Ministerial Conference organized with the full cooperation of the Chinese government and held in the presence of 900 participants from 45 countries, 20 Ministers and high-level personalities, also featuring the departure of the first Beijing-Brussels truck caravan, is proof that the IRU has the right vision and undertakes the right actions to adapt our industry to the changing world.
