Status MUX and 2 detectors received from Teledyne In La Serena ITAR license required safe and door locks = done Fanout board designed and built Warm-test cables built Warm testing of MUX mostly done, all good so far Software 90% or more done Test Dewar = new “lab” version of SOI-style Parts coming out of shop, leak checking and rework underway Completion expected 18 November Cryo cables designed, order going out before end of Oct Expected 8 week delivery from UK ACTR-S Meeting 24 Oct 2013

Next Steps Finish Test Dewar Wire up with cryo cables Cold test MUX – expected finish late January 2014 Cold test, optimize first detector – expected finish early May Cold test, optimize second detector – expected finish early August Will probably deliver MUX, detectors to Cornell serially They expect to need something (MUX or detector) late May/early June May require > 1 trip by CTIO personnel to Ithaca, NY; maybe notl Certainly means > 1 shipment Expected finish dates include explicit schedule contingency ACTR-S Meeting 24 Oct 2013

Summary We are somewhat (4-6 months) behind original schedule So is Cornell = no conflict, yet Still aiming for delivery to CTIO in January 2015 Have eaten much but not all of I&T phase contingency already Making good progress now BUT need to keep up; further slips almost certainly will mean delayed delivery to CTIO Resources needed: Patricio + shop to finish Test Dewar (done soon) Marco Bonati and Michael Warner + technician support for testing ACTR-S Meeting 24 Oct 2013
