DTI Workshop Day 0

GE Research Next generation software quality system, Dart 2. Three face-to-face meetings were held with Kitware to discuss requirements and review the design. A first implementation is now available (Blezek, Miller) Identified two areas that require immediate engineering attention. Diffusion Tensor Imaging requirements: Hosted a T-CON to get a high level look at DTI issues and organized DTI Workshop. Coordinate systems for NA-MIC: Mailing lists discussions on requirements for coordinate systems for the NA-MIC kit. Created a strawman solution for itk. Started discussions with NIH concerning software process for NCBC centers

GE Research Plans DTI Engineering (with Kitware) Coordinate systems Refine requirements First gen implementations Coordinate systems Initial itk integration Dart 2 Establish NA-MIC kit dashboards

Kitware With GE Research, worked on establishing requirements for the next generation DART software testing server. Participated in several design reviews of the ongoing DART implementation. Extended the client side testing including improvements to CTest. Established the testing infrastructure (setting up dashboards, etc.) in conjunction with our ongoing Core 4 efforts. Improved performance of ITK iterators in response to feedback received during dissemination workshops. Participated in Core 2 DTI discussion (prototype ITK tensor data).

UCSD Dissemination Infrastructure Data Sharing Hosted NAMIC dissemination event (February 17-18). Taught Data Grid course at UCSD dissemination event. Instructions available for deploying a "tunneled" SRB server. Infrastructure Researched, tested and deployed a newly configured SRB server for NAMIC that allows for the tunneling of all SRB commands via SSH. A server co-located at BWH will be discussed at the AHM. Data Sharing Hosting NAMIC data on data grid accessible to all NAMIC participants. Providing data grid and Portal support to all NAMIC participants.

Sharing data using BIRN Data Management Data Access Control & Auditing Metadata Search The BIRN Portal and Data Grid provides secure and audited access to NAMIC data from Core 3 sites with a Single Login from any Internet capable location.

UCLA Built NAMIC software installation pipelines Built integrated visualization component Attended dissemination workshops in Boston and UCSD
