Discuss In Your Loyalty Circle Who is the mentor you thought about? How did that person come to be your mentor? What is your relationship like? For example, how often do you talk and what do you talk about?

Writing a Thank You Note Include your greeting. Express your thanks. Add specific details. Look ahead. Restate your thanks. End with your regards.

Example Dear Ms. Williams, I’ve been thinking of you recently and wanted to thank you for going out of your way to be such a great mentor and role model to me. It’s because of you that my resume was strong enough to land this great internship with my university. I’d love to catch up with you over coffee in the next couple of weeks to update you on my progress. Again, thank you for your support. I can’t wait to see you soon! Sincerely, Suzy
