Les Verbes en –ir au Présent Objective: students will be able to conjugate the –ir verb group in French.

There is another group of regular verbs in French ending in ir. To conjugate, drop the –ir ending and add the following: (je) -is (nous) -issons (tu) -is (vous) -issez (on/il/elle) -it (ils/elles) -issent

For example: finir = to finish je finis nous finissons tu finis vous finissez on/il/elle finit ils/elles finissent
