Introduction What is diversity?

Presentation What is Bio-diversity? The verity that we see in the living things exist on the earth is called bio-diversity. They vary in size, shape, body parts. Mo/s , iniselluars, trees, snakes, grasses. Vary in eating habits body systems, transfer chromosomes.

Variety in species of same class. Ex. Pisces

Environment brings biological diversity. Env changes place to place Environment brings biological diversity. Env changes place to place. Animals vary in, ponds, rivers, lake, sea Animals and plants vary in deserts, coastal areas, snow bond region,

Conservation of bio-diversity Conservation of bio-diversity. Need : for existence, to complete basic needs. Env importance.

Reasons for decline in bio-diversity. Explosives rate of accusation , demand of food grins. Replaces local variety of cattle's. Some birds become extinct. Demand for land for housing, cutting for forest, construction of dams, road, factories, pollution, rising temperature.

Protection of rear species. Creating national parks and sanctuaries. Declaring some areas as reserved bio-diversity zones. Undertaking special projects to nurture specific species. To compile and document traditional knowledge. Ex. Seed bank, gene bank

Reserved Bio-diversity zones. In this area wildlife is protected but the local people are permitted to carry on with their daily life and work. A treaty for protecting plants and wild animals in danger of extinction because of international trade has come into force since 1975. this treaty regulates the import and export of all kinds of wildlife.
