Business Product Ideas What should we sell?

The Task at Hand Now that we have an idea for a company we need to formalize our identity by deciding what it is exactly we are going to sell. On the next several slides you will make a presentation to share your ideas with the rest of the company.

Category Slides What are the groups of things we want to sell? Why do they make sense to our business? *Must have at least 2 categories and should try to limit the number to no more than 5 (for now)

Example: Land At New Heights we sell adventure and extreme sports products and equipment that allow people to take their life to new heights. It makes sense to me to make three categories: Land being the first, along with air and sea. We would sell these products to those people who enjoy extreme sports that happen on land; like biking, rock climbing, skating etc.

Product Slides -We will be choosing a minimum of 5 products per category to be part of our catalog and that we will sell. -you will be responsible for developing 2 products per category. -We will vote as a class on the products to be included for sale. What products do we want to sell? Must include: The formal name of the product A picture Brief description The Price (what it currently sells for) Where you found it – A working link What category it would fit in? Why should we sell it? Why will consumers want to buy this?

Example Land Category Mammut El Cap Climbing Helmet $75.00 The Mammut El Cap Climbing Helmet has a stylish design and a comfortable fit that leaves no excuses for not wearing a helmet when you're climbing. www.helmets.com With Land being one of the main categories we will have a variety of products where the user will need personal protective equipment. A helmet is a necessity for all adventure athletes. It is essential that we provide our customers the ability for one stop shopping!
