Animals That I Chose Tiger Scorpions Praying Mantis

I chose the tiger because it was, and still is one of the most feared animals throughout the world. The great tigers are one of many endangered species in the world usually due to poachers and loss of habitat. No natural predators

I chose these scorpions because my friends and I used to have them as a pet. It would be in a little jar and we would feed it small cockroaches and spiders. The scorpion I had were not as big as the two pictured above, but only about a third of the size.

This is a praying mantis and I used to also have one of these as a pet when I was younger. This insect is another great hunter and I used to feed it grasshoppers. It would catch the prey with its claw-like legs, then devour it.

Out of the three animals that I picked, I don’t really like one more than the other. The reason why I like all of these animals is because they are all good hunters and their survival depends on it. I guess the tiger is the most feared because it is at the top of the food chain. There have also been stories of how tigers hunt people and I’ve heard a lot about that on the dicovery channel. People think of them as fun and loving creatures, but they are the ultimate ambush predators. The scorpion and praying mantis have a lot of animals above them that depend on them as a food source.
