Nutrition SBCC Coordination Government Agreement on the establishment of Joint Gov-DPs Nutrition SBCC Task Force Multi-sectoral: Health, Agriculture, Education, Information and Culture Multi-stakeholder: EU, UNICEF, World Bank, UNFPA, FAO, WFP, WHO, IFAD, USAID, ADB, JICA, KOICA, Save the Children, Plan, World Vision, PSI, SNV, SUN CSA Main tasks: Actively participate and provide inputs for Nutrition SBCC SAP development Submit Nutrition SBCC SAP for endorsement to the NNC-S Mobilise resources and support the implementation of Nutrition SBCC activities DPs Task Force on Nutrition SBCC met in May, July and September 2016 – for coordination and planning purposes

Development of the National Nutrition SBCC Strategic Action Plan Technical support for development of the National SBCC Strategic Action Plan: International consultant (UNICEF/EU) & National consultants both on board since September 2016 Activities to date: October 24: SBCC advocacy meeting led by DHHP October 26- 28: SBCC training workshop for SBCC Task Force October 31 – 4 Nov: workshop to revise IYCF training manual and IEC materials Desk review preliminary report finalized Collaborating with Alive and Thrive to develop draft Formative Research plan Formative research training workshop and consultation meetings to finalise research plan – March/April TBC
