Ways to Grow Spiritually Live each day as if Jesus were returning tomorrow (2 Pet. 3:1-12). “Stir Up” (2 Pet. 3:1) Remember the “holy prophets” (2 Pet. 3:1). There will be “scoffers” (2 Pet. 3:3). We are supposed to be “looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God” (2 Pet. 3:12)

Ways to Grow Spiritually Become a Person of Prayer Make time every day for prayer. “Pray without ceasing.” “Continue in prayer” (1 Thess. 5:17; Col. 4:2) Eph. 6:18 be “Praying always”. Set aside time each day to think about spiritual things. Phil. 4:8 “…meditate on these things” Ac. 3:1 “hour of prayer” Pray for others. Lk. 6:28 “pray for those who spitefully use you” Pray for greater ability.

Ways to Grow Spiritually Make a list of your faults and develop a plan to work on them. (James 5:16) Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (Galatians 6:1-2) Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Ways to Grow Spiritually Reach out to others for Christ on a regular basis. (Jas. 2:18) “…I will show you my faith by my works.” (Daniel 12:3) Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
