What is a Works Cited List? How to do a Works Cited List in MLA format? Using Citation Machine for Pictures or Information What is a Works Cited List?  “is a list of all of the sources you have used… in the process of researching your work.” (What's a Bibliography)

Citing Information directly from a Source? “If you are using a few sentences directly from a source, you need to use quotations around the information, list the author(s), and pages numbers afterwards. “ (Author, 49) Do the same thing for a website, but list the first few major words of the title. Example: (The Title) This will be enough information to help the reader find the information from your works cited list sources.

How to use Citation Machine? Go to the World History website: https://www.lcps.org/Page/175371 or the Economics website: https://www.lcps.org/Page/178278 2. Click on the link for Citation Machine: http://www.citationmachine.net/mla/cite-a-book Click where your source came from the icons. Paste the URL address from the source in the space and click search website icon. 5. Click select Click final step Click create citation Click copy & paste (Citation Machine) Remember to put the source on your works cited list.

Making the Works Cited List 1. Paste your citations from Citation Machine. 2. If the citation came from a website, please list the URL underneath the citation. 3.
