Expressions and Equations Review Day 3

Vocabulary Equivalent expressions- expressions that have the same value for every value for every value of the variable Equation- A statement that the values of two mathematical expressions are equal (indicated by the sign =). Variable- a symbol representation of an unknown number Coefficient- a number used to multiply by a variable Constant- a number on its own Inequality- A mathematical sentence built from expressions using one or more of the symbols <, >, ≤, or ≥
