Baseline Ground Station Architecture FormoSat-7 / COSMIC-2 (Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere and Climate) The program has agreed to establish a ground station in UENR-Ghana to improve data latency. Installation is scheduled to be completed by July, 2017. Baseline Ground Station Architecture

CARBON MONITORING TOWER The Centre is far advanced to acquire and set up a flux tower. This flux tower will be able to determine exchange rates of carbon dioxide between the forests and the atmosphere. The information gathered plays into the debate on the measurable effects of climate change.

High Performance Computing Applications Computational Fluid Dynamics GPU Computing Environmental Modelling Weather and Flood Forecasting Artificial Intelligence …and many more

UAV for precision agriculture Expected Results Building capacity of 5 MSc & 2 PhD students Training programs for selected farming communities Development of enhanced soil-water conservation methods Building capacity on the use of drone technology for agriculture

Flooding – Using TanDEM-X images TanDEM-X (TerraSAR-X add-on for Digital Elevation Measurement) is the name of TerraSAR-X's twin satellite, a German Earth observation satellite using SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) - a modern radar imaging technology

Mapping the extents of damage of Small Scale Mining in Ghana Depletion of: Water Resources Forest Resources Food Crops Human Health SENTINEL 1,2 PRODUCTS

Is our problem an issue of Data Access or Data Availability? Food for Thought? Is our problem an issue of Data Access or Data Availability? Can we sustain EO dissemination without a Business Model? How can AfriGEOSS integrate activities within Africa for Big Funding from World Bank etc.?
