Highlights of May 12th COPS Meeting Review of COPS procedures: Called attention to governance, structure, and purpose of COPS Noted COPS voting procedures differ from TAC, WMS, & RMS; more like PRS. COPS does not allow telephone voting. COPS working groups and task forces are not voting bodies The chairs of these bodies must report recommendations to COPS, including all minority positions. Materials submitted by working groups that require COPS approval will be submitted to COPS members for review one week prior to the scheduled COPS meeting Following discussion, CCWG was requested to review the procedures and offer any suggestions for changes or improvements to COPS and solicit input from TASOR.

CCWG Continue developing nodal Sections in the Commercial Operations Market Guide Created draft COPMGRR for new Section, Organizational Structure Created draft COPMGRR for updated Appendix A, Market Notice Communication Process for Outages and Processing Impacts Conducting a review of COPS Procedures and By-laws Reviewing Nodal Protocols to verify ERCOT MIS posting requirements

DEWG / SDAWG The Data Extract SLA was discussed and final comments have been incorporated into the document. COPS participants requested to review the document and consider at the June 10th meeting. Called attention to data extract problems and the recovery of data corrupted on April 21st and general data issues raised during April. Received an update from ERCOT Staff highlighting status and efforts to resolve the issues. Received an update on EDS4 testing from ERCOT Staff. Requested this report be provided at SDAWG meetings as an ongoing agenda item and for SDAWG to communicate to COPS testing progress. Requested more settlements personnel participate in the weekly EDS4 conference calls.

9.1.1 Profile Decision Tree Revision and Approval Process Annual Update Approval Language - LPG 9.1.1 Profile Decision Tree Revision and Approval Process ERCOT Staff is responsible for updating the Profile Decision Tree annually; these annual updates are limited to the contents of the “Segment Assignment Tab” and shall be submitted by the ERCOT Staff to the Profiling Working Group (PWG) for review, to the Commercial Operations Subcommittee (COPS) for a recommendation, and to the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for approval. No later than five Business Days after the TAC approval ERCOT shall: Issue a market notice alerting Market Participants (MPs) of the change with the effective date ten days following the issuance of the market notice; and (b) Electronically distribute the updated Profile Decision Tree to MPs.
