Software upgrade Main responsible: Steven Pavis EN-ICE is preparing the migration to a new software version (CPC6 & more). The migration requires to (~) completely rewrite the code (PLC+PVSS): Preparation phase needed to define strategy and milestons Define modules, test logic, … Validation of one/two gas systems covering almost all functionalities Deployment on one experiment (all detectors) Deployment on all the experiments A complete commissioning will be required (same as it was done at the first start-up of the gas systems) About one-two week of stop/instability for each detector (CSC, DT, RPC, T1, T2, ID flushing, …) Activitiy scheduled from beg.
