Review Holiness means “apart-ness,” or separate God is holy: He is separate from sin. Lev. 11.44 He commands us to be holy—separate from sin This is an OT command. Lev. 11.45 And a NT one. I Peter 1.15-16 The Law of Moses defines sin Romans 7.7

There is nothing wrong with the Law of Moses The Law is not sin. Romans 7.7 The Law is holy. Romans 7.12 It condemns me, however, because of its fleshly weakness Romans 8.3 God’s salvation freed me from this condemnation He fulfilled the righteous demands of the Law. Romans 8.1-4

He crucified us with Himself, so that we could be freed from the Law and married to Him. Romans 7.1-3. Galatians 2.20 We are now free from the Law of Moses, in order to serve more perfectly. Romans 7.6 Romans 8.11-14 Galatians 2.19 We are not free from all moral norms

Let’s remember the two great demands of the Law Matthew 22.36-40 Love God Love your neighbor And God is still very much concerned that we love Him, and love our neighbors
