Monroe Fire Department Recruit Orientation Sessions July 29th at 7:00 PM or August 1st at 10:30 AM at Fire Station No. 1 601 West 17th Street Near Badger State Ethanol (Prospective members MUST attend the orientation session in order to receive an application packet)

Monroe Fire Department Open House Families and community members are welcome August 1st 8 AM to 11:30 AM Fire Station No. 1 601 West 17th Street Near Badger State Ethanol

The general requirements are; 18 years of age The Monroe Fire Department will be recruiting six paid-on-call firefighters for a recruit class beginning September 22nd. The general requirements are;  18 years of age Live in the Monroe Fire District Must pass a department physical exam and drug screen Agree to a comprehensive background check All required training will be provided. Starting wage is $13.00 per hour with increases awarded based upon certification levels attained. (All training and response hours paid at this rate)
