Growing In The Grace And Knowledge Of God Living Speaking

Review Knowing, Growing, Understanding, Living, Giving God’s structured plans work best The Light of God—extended to us Walking with God—our daily patterns

Godly speech This lesson is to get us to focus upon our communication from a spiritual standpoint. Our example and influence are one way we communicate our faith in God. Our speech should reflect our faith in God. Our speech should be of such a nature that we encourage others to put faith in God.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. This implies wisdom being used. Harshness never works when trying to show concern and love for souls.

Titus 2:6-8 “Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, in order that the opponent may be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us. We should never allow our opponents to accuse us of foul speech or teaching of error. We have many opponents.

Acts 4:20 "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." The apostles were moved to share the message of the gospel and the story of Christ. A counsel of men were not going to cause them to keep silent when such a great and important thing has happened

Acts 18:9 Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, "Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; We should follow this same advice. While Paul had protection to go speak boldly, we should also know that God will protect us. The gospel message is too important to keep silent if we know it.

1Thessalonians 2:4 But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. We should not speak to please men, but God. When we share the gospel message, God is glorified.

James 2:12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. The law of Christ applies to us. So we should be living the gospel as an example. Not just telling people about Christ and salvation, But showing them in our lives.

1Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God 1Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen This is to be observed when we teach people the Bible message. Keep our opinion out, and God’s word in. Make sure our message is what God has given us.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense (an answer) to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; We must live the gospel from our hearts. When people see our behavior they might enquire, or ask about our spiritual life. Bible study is necessary to answer as God would have us answer.

Sharing God’s Grace Many passages in the Bible that describes the declaration of God’s word, love, protection, care, grace, and charge. As we have been granted so many spiritual blessings from God, we should be willing to tell others about these blessings, so that they would want them as well. We should speak God’s message.

Conclusion Speaking, teaching, answering, showing, declaring, sharing what God has done for us is available to all people. We as Christians (recipients of this grace) should be sharing the gospel message to everyone in our world. Living this way should cause others to seek the grace of God in the same manner.
