Movie Marketing Project: During this project you will pretend that a popular book of your choice is being changed into a movie. You will be expected to create: A poster advertising your film. A standee for display in the cinema when the film launches. Homework

Lesson Objectives To understand the storyline of your chosen book and to get ideas for what will be the main components of your publicity materials. Success Criteria Must Have chosen a book that could be converted into a movie and begun to work on the initial ideas sheet. Should Have presented your information in a visually attractive way using images from the Internet. Could Have added extra information and sections to the sheet to help specifically tailor the ideas to your book. Objectives

NO EXCUSES GET ON WITH IT! USE IMAGES AND TEXT! I forgot to bring a book. I have chosen my book. Don’t waste any time! You have until 10.45 (at the latest) to choose a book. Look around the library or go to: Great! Get started on your initial ideas.
