Mechanism accumulated by decades is still useful in modern world and very soon it will initiate progress in the developing Russian sport.

The experimental protocol The essence of the research was to interrogate students of 10th and 11th forms in our school. There were two purposes of this inquiry. First is to know if teenagers are interested in sports and standards of GTO; second is to find out their level in the sport exercises.

Eighty five students took part in our interrogation Eighty five students took part in our interrogation. There were forty seven boys and thirty eight girls among them. More than a half of students go in for sports. There are thirty four athletic boys (sixteen ones are with a sport category) and twenty six athletic girls (seven ones are with a sport category). Presence of the students with a sport category, particularly Masters of the sports and Candidates Master of Sports, is very meritorious. It shows that students can combine studies and sport.

Eighty percent of girls and forty percent of boys are not going to be tasted in the system GTO. So, despite a revival of the system GTO, it is not so popular among teenagers, particularly girls. Only eight students of a high school tried their opportunities in the GTO.

Students rated their abilities on the average level Students rated their abilities on the average level. In some tests, such as: 100 Meters running, bending, lifting the trunk, еtightening, prevailed "bronze" results.

In others, such as 2 km running, long jump, there were «gold» results.

The conclusion It's very important nowadays when government pays attention to people's physical health, creates conditions for sports. It is clear that the state cares about health of nation and about each of citizens particularly. GTO – is a chance to prove patriotic feelings in Russia, create conditions to raise healthy and sporty generation. It makes everyone to say: '' I'm ready to work and to defend my country''.
