Text , Dimension and Mark of Engineering Draw

Creating single-line Text Lecture Four 1 Setting Up Text Style Creating single-line Text 2 Creating Multiline - Text 3 4 Setting Dimension Style Dimensioning Symbols for Draws 5 Defining a Block Attributes 6

1. Setting Up Text Style When you create single-line text and multiline text, you should assign a text style. Most characteristics of the text are controlled by the text style, which sets the default font and other options, such as line spacing, justification, and color. You can use the current text style or select a new one. The STANDARD text style is the default.

Each text line is an independent object that you can relocate, reformat, or otherwise modify. Command: text Current text style: "GB" Text height: 10.0000 Specify start point of text or [Justify/Style]: j Enter an option [Align/Fit/Center/Middle/Right/TL/TC/TR/ML/MC/MR/BL/BC/BR]:

Application of single-line Text Editing single-line text. Select edited line Double-click left key on your mouse. You can insert or erase some characters. Φ30 %%% Draws a single percent sign (%). 100%

3. Creating Multiline - Text You can create one or more paragraphs of multiline text (mtext) in the In-Place Text Editor. They are shown as a object when modifying them Specify first corner: Specify opposite corner After you specify the point for the opposite corner, the in-place text editor is displayed.  You can very easy edit multline-text by pointing device: Double-click a multiline text object.
