Theology I Core beliefs

Core beliefs God created humans in His image and likeness. Original sin disrupted our relationship with God. God established covenants throughout human history to help restore our relationship with him. Jesus Christ is the savior of the human race, the restoration of the relationship of love between God and man.

Core beliefs After his crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead, overcoming sin and death. The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, is at work in the world God is a Triune God – one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit. The Catholic Church, founded by Jesus Christ, has been entrusted with God’s revealed truth – Sacred Tradition

Core Beliefs The Bible is another source of God’s revealed truth. The Bible is God’s inspired word. Salvation is possible for those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ and who try to do God’s will.
