Primary 3 Mathematics Geometry Lines and Angles Hi everyone, today we’ll be learning about lines and angles.

Parallel Lines Let’s say now we have 2 lines, line AB and line CD. These 2 lines are pointing in the exact same direction so even if we extend them forever, they wouldn’t get closer or touch. We call these kind of lines “parallel” lines.

Intersection D A B Now if we nudge line CD so that it crosses line AB, the point at which they cross is called an intersection. Let’s call this point “P”. And when lines intersect they form angles. You can think of angles as spaces between the intersecting lines. C
